NORTH COAST WET N WILD
Our Story
North Coast Wet n Wild Ltd provides open water swimming coaching, guided swim trips, cold water dipping, stand up paddle boarding and coasteering in stunning hidden locations.
Swim in turquoise clear coastal water and mysterious peaty lochs. Stop off on beautiful secluded white beaches to spot the wildlife and have time to relax and take in the scenery. You might see inquisitive seals, porpoise, orca, walrus and an abundance of birds. (We respect nature at all times and do not swim close to nesting sites or wildlife.)
We are currently undergoing Stand Up Paddle Boarding training and qualifications and will soon be able to offer paddle board trips and adventures in addition to the coaching and sheltered water sessions.
An experience with us will make your NC500 trip one you will never forget!
Meet The Team

George Kennedy
George is an outdoor fanatic and in his leisure time enjoys pushing his limits in quite a diverse range of activities, such as Paddle Boarding, Rock Climbing, Wild Swimming, Mountain Biking and Caving to name but a few. He’s a big kid at heart and is always up for fun and adventure.
George has worked at a few residential outdoor Education Centres over the years and operated as a guide and activity instructor for Inverness based company “In Your Element” for a number of seasons. George is a highly experienced and qualified guide, and you’ll find yourself in safe hands. He will go out of his way to give you and your friends an “eye’s out on their stalks” experience!
George also has much knowledge on local history and is a bit of a geek with natural history, so if you’re a nature lover, George will be happy to point out local wildlife on a trip.

Caroline Watson
Caroline has had her great love of the outdoors rekindled and loves nothing more now than to jump on her paddle board or immerse herself into the sea to re-charge her batteries and relax, inhaling the fresh air whilst listening and absorbing the 360-degree all-natural surround sounds.
Caroline has been a police officer for 24 years and is quite swift at bringing justice to those that misbehave during her sessions! But don’t worry, she also has a great sense of humour and the patience of a saint, making her sessions fun as well as inspiring and motivating.
Caroline’s passion for being in the sea and lochs rubs off on those she works with, and she is particularly good at encouraging people to try something new and embrace the fear! Caroline will have you wanting to come back for more.
Rhoda Kennedy
Rhoda is an outdoor junkie and is happiest when she is immersed in the outdoors no matter what the weather. She loves to share her experiences with others, both newbies and experienced. She will help you to reach your “Wet n’ Wild” goals!
With over 20 years’ experience of working with young people, most latterly as an Active School’s Co-ordinator and Youth Development Officer, Rhoda has developed a backpack full of handy hints and tips for keeping kids of all ages inspired and motivated.
Rhoda is competitive in her spare time and loves the finer details of all the technical stuff, she will coach you to improve your outdoor swimming skills and techniques as well as prepare for that all important swim/triathlon race day, if that is your thing…… or maybe you need a little support to come out of that comfort zone and try an event for the first time. Go on – if it doesn’t challenge you, it won’t change you!
